Guthrie in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and interning at Lone Star Legal Aid in Tyler, Texas.

In 2018, Lee was appointed to the City of Tyler Civil Service Commission, where she continues to serve. She is also a recognized speaker, presenting at prominent legal and law enforcement conferences, including:

East Texas Roots & Personal Life

A Tyler, Texas native, Lee developed an early appreciation for law enforcement, as her father served as a Tyler Police Officer for 20 years. She is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and later earned her law degree from South Texas College of Law, Houston. Lee is married to Cory Shepherd and enjoys life in Tyler with their two beloved dogs, Chiquita and Beatrice.
