Jim Evans joined Flowers Davis in January 2026, where his practice focuses on Insurance Defense, Medical and Professional Liability Defense, and Civil Litigation. Licensed since 2006, Jim offers broad experience in civil litigation from a varied background in insurance defense, constitutional law, energy, property, and business. He has broad transactional knowledge from his years in-house with a respected private oil and gas company. Jim is known as a thoughtful and effective advocate, having successfully worked on appeals before the Texas Courts of Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He brings a practical perspective to his work, seeking solutions that minimize litigation where possible.
