Brison Bursey is an Associate Attorney who joined Flowers Davis as a in late 2023. His primary practice areas are real estate litigation and oil and gas litigation. Brison has a strong litigation track record balanced with sound business acumen.

At a previous firm, Brison directed the prosecution of a complex wrongful death case that resulted in one of the biggest settlements in his firm’s history. At another, he was heavily involved in the prosecution of an intellectual property case resulting in a $26,500,000 verdict and he successfully directed a lawsuit in a major pharmaceutical multidistrict litigation proceeding. He has prosecuted and defended multiple cases involving noncompetition, antitrust, contract, products liability, insurance and business litigation issues, managing all aspects of discovery, pretrial hearings, depositions and mediations. He successfully defended one verdict on appeal.

Immediately prior to joining Flowers Davis, Brison served as General Counsel and Chief Legal Counsel for Inova Partners, LLC, a professional veterinary practice management company. There he directed a multi-million-dollar M&A deal involving multiple veterinary management service organizations, drafting all legal documents and managing the entire process to timely closing. He advised executives on strategic corporate and legal matters, managing all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution. He negotiated multiple contracts, deeds, employment agreements, and took ultimate responsibility for all legal operations and regulatory compliance.

Outside of work, Brison enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and playing the guitar. In recent years, he’s become active in jiu jitsu and enjoys earning his belts. Brison and his family live in Weatherford, Texas.
