Alan Tomme Obituary

TYLER, TX – Memorial services for Alan Wayne Tomme, (69), of Flint will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 2:00 at Marvin Methodist Church with Pastor Gerry Giles officiating.
Alan passed away on January 28, 2025, in Flint. He was born January 4, 1956, in Austin to Alton Ronald Tomme and Vivian Sue Johnston Tomme. He was raised in Colleyville, Texas, and Graduated from Grapevine High School in 1974, he then went on to graduate from Harding University in 1978, which led him to pursue his education and graduate from Baylor Law School in 1981.

Alan married Kathy Sue Carey on June 23, 1981, in Shreveport, LA. Suzie and Alan also lived in Midland, TX, Richardson, TX, and Bedford, TX. They were currently residing in Tyler, TX.

Preceded in death was his father Alton Ron Tomme who passed in September 18 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Suzie, Vivian Sue Johnson (mother) Steven Tomme (brother) Valarie (Tomme) Roepken – niece, Jamie (Tomme) Bird- niece, Lane Tomme – nephew, Randall Tomme (brother), Abby Elliott – niece, Tyler Tomme – nephew, Weston Tomme – nephew Braden Tomme – nephew.
