Ross Weathers has been with Flowers Davis since May 2020, and practices in the areas of Oil and Gas Title Opinions, Real Estate Law, Transactions, Acquisitions and Development, and Business Entity Formation.

He has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, starting his career as Contract Attorney at Weathers Exploration, where he gained first-hand knowledge of the production, acquisition, and redevelopment of producing fields throughout East Texas. During that same time period, Ross honed his real estate, business and transactional skills as Of Counsel Attorney for The Hampe Law Firm. There he handled landlord disputes, performed due diligence analysis for business transactions, and advised clients on oil and gas matters as well as business and legal risk and solutions.

Immediately prior to joining Flowers Davis, Ross focused mostly on oil and gas matters at Mani Little & Wortman, PLLC, where he rendered drilling, supplemental and division order title opinions, counseled lease brokers and landmen on contract lease negotiations, and compiled encumbrance data impacting financing, acquisition and development of properties.

Outside of work, Ross enjoys exploring the great outdoors and photographing whitetail deer.
