Hogan Leatherwood has practiced in the Litigation Section of Flowers Davis since 2016. His primary areas of focus are Insurance Defense, Defense of Governmental Entities, Commercial Litigation, and Oil and Gas law. Hogan handles first party and third party insurance claims, defends governmental entities in complex Civil Rights litigation and claims under the Texas Tort Claims Act. He also represents oil and gas clients in East Texas.

During law school, Hogan served as a law clerk for Globe Energy Services in Houston, Texas. He also served as a legal intern for Wise and Susong in Houston, Texas.

Before attending law school, Hogan worked as a Petroleum Landman from 2010 to 2013. During his time as a Petroleum Landman, he acquired oil, gas and mineral leases for major E&P companies in Texas and Louisiana, examined mineral and surface title ownership, and performed curative tasks in order to complete drill site title opinions.
